I do consider myself christian but am not overly religous. The reason I am why I am is because I have alot of people in my family that pressure me into going to church and I am at the point I have no interest in it. But I still believe in God though.

Saying your a Christian and being one is two different things. To be a Christian one first must be willing to repent, Matthew 4:17, In John 3:3 Jesus said you must be born again spiritually, a new birth inside comes from a repentative heart confess Jesus as Lord and believing that Jesus arose from the grave the third day forever washing our sins away. We are all sinners, but the perfect blood of Jesus cleanses us, the Blood He shed on the Cross. This is why I am a Christian, Jesus gave His life for me, unconditionally, He already knew I was a sinner and yet He came to earth and died for us all taking our sins upon him and taking them to the grave. When He arose the third day He set us free, now all we have to do is be Born Again, If you would like to be saved and Born Again just pray this sinners prayer believing in Jesus with all your heart and you will be saved, Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. Jesus will now send his Holy Spirit to come and live in your heart and guide you into all truth. If you made a decision for Christ or have any questions, Please send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

I’m Christian Wiccan. I was Christian, but never believed the bible was perfect, or that good people who don’t believe in Jesus would go to hell. The whole idea that a God of love would let hell even exist seems wrong. I’ve always been liberal. For a long time I didn’t think about stuff like that and only focused on God’s love, but the more I got involved in my church the more UN-Christ like I saw others behave. Then I went through a intense bible course that made us think about the ugly stuff and by the time I was done with that course I knew no one would consider me Christian anymore. I consider myself Christian because I choose to focus on God’s love and Jesus as my brother and best friend. I’ve always had a close relationship with Christ. I just don’t believe that he is the only way to heaven. He’s just one way, that works well for many Christians. I learned about Wicca on the internet and when I found out that witches are not evil then I really start studying them and found out I’ve been a witch all my life, so all that was really new was bringing in the Goddess to my religion. That was very easy. It completed God. I don’t see them as separate but as one. The whole male and female thing is for our convinces and not what God really is. So while I still read the bible and talk to Jesus I also take to the Goddess and practice witchcraft. In the end God will judge me and I feel as long as I live a loving and peaceful like I’ll be ok.

I am a Christian Preacher and have always felt that a person chooses the religion they do because they feel it is a true religion.
At least I would know of no other reason to practice Christianity if I didn't believe it to be true.

I chose to be my religion, which isn't Christianity, because I found too many contradictions and hypocrisy within the ranks of the many churches I have seen. I don't in any means put anyone else down for believing it, but I chose my own path and a new religion. :)

I'm pretty much an Atheist. I used to not even think about religion, but when I thought about what religion I was, and did research on major religions, I found most of them hypocritical and just plain out stupid. Then I found myself questioning if there even was a creator(s), and this is where I am now.

I am Asatru Heathen. After leaving Christianity (it never took in my life), I drifted into paganism which was closer to what my heart was screaming for but wasn't quite it. I researched a number of branches of paganism and my own heritage and lineage. I'm Scots/Indian/Anglo-Saxon and researched those pagan paths and finally heard the call from Norse/Anglo-Saxon deities. I've been Asatru for over 10 years.

My sister and mother followed me into paganism and then into Asatru so I have a supportive family.

Good luck to you in your search.

T-burg as in Tillsonburg?!

Ah cause I'm from a small town called Tillsonburg and we all call it T-burg, wouldn't that have been something?

Anyway, I'm atheist simply because I find religion illogical.
