I'm getting tired of using Windows Move Maker....its time for an upgrade. I heard Nero 8 a few times...so should I just put that on my xmas or bday list?...Does it come with cool effects and sound like *thunder,scary music, ect........

No, Nero is a CD/DVD burning suite, not a movie editor. Don't believe me? Search for it yourself.
Try Ulead MovieFactory or Sony Vegas Studio for editing.

well so did i, i got fed up and switched to a mac so i could use there imovie, and then pay for programs like final cut, but for windows i'd try sony vegas.
