My wife says you need to use more conditioner and to use Suave shampoo. Although it may be about the least expensive, it is the best in terms of pH balance.

i have this leave in conditioner i really like dove smoothing frizz control and i think it would help... and any other texturizers and leave ins that don't get too sticky.. dove also makes a hairspray that doesnt get sticky... it is the sticky products that make the wet head look... and do not use a blow dryer... actually, i use my regular conditioner as a leave in too.... i mix it with water in a spray bottle and wet my hair with it and then let it air dry... do not brush your hair either. it will make it go 'poof'... it does mine, anyway....

Either let it dry naturally without playing with it, or dry it with a diffuser on your blow dryer, the big circle one with the teeth. You can always ask your beautician to show you a good way to style it, too.
