I would think a big bottle of Pepcid AC would be nice. LOL.
I think the green bamboo arrangements are extremely nice and relatively easy to care for. They seemed to be the rage on the East Coast before we left there last Spring.

YOU should get him/her a beautiful card that is truly heartfelt. Then you should get a number of your friends to come over to give support and "spend" their money in this venture. You can go "one step further" and offer to help on his/her side of the counter. Self involvement is always a plus that is "welcome" and most appreciated. I wish you well. a beautiful picture frame.. to put his first dollar in... to hang on wall. a lot of businesses keep the first dollar. get a color to match wall where cash register is. he will probably hang it there.
