According to Microsoft's Office 2003 EULA

"[You may]
(a) install and use a copy of the Software on one personal computer or other device; and
(b) install an additional copy of the Software on a second, portable device for the exclusive use of the primary
user of the first copy of the Software."

In other words, as long as two copies aren't going to be used together (simultaneously), you can install it on both computers, provided one of them is a portable one.

You need to read your license key and the license agreement contained on the CD case, and in the agreement pages enclosed in the case. How many computers you can install your Microsoft Small Business programs is determined by the type of license you purchased. Mine is for three systems, but my husbands is for only one.

The CD has an embedded image across the full CD which allows the authentication process to authenticate your product each time you insert the CD into the CD/DVD drive in your system.

You also need to activate the product. Usually you are given 50 product launches without activation before it reverts to minimal functionality. If you do not activate it within that time period you will effectively not be able to use the product.

So, just read your CD case and the enclosed page which outlines your terms and agreement. It will explain all of this to you and tell you how to activate and provide the product key.

Good luck and a very nice holiday season.

you won't be able to legally acquire place of work 2003 everywhere. Microsoft is two variations previous 2003 (2007/2010) so that's now not obtainable. you're in a position to purchase a criminal version from somebody from eBay or something, yet be careful because of the fact somewhat some utility being bought on eBay isn't relatively criminal.

you can only put it on one computer.

if you have to activate, that it will only work on one pc.

or buy Office 2000, it does not need activation, and you can install on more than one system if you order a multi-computer installation license from Microsoft

To my knowledge your contract agreement when you agree during installation allows you to use it on three computers.
