The water should be on the brink of boiling, about 170 degrees. Brew it for one to three minutes.

Pour the water over the tea, rather than dunking the bag in the hot water, for the best flavor.

Of course, the best green tea comes unbagged. If you buy loose tea, use an open-topped strainer, rather than a tea ball. It gives the leaves more room to move freely.

Green tea is more forgiving than most oxidized or partly oxidized teas. Try just off the boil and anywhere from 1-3 minutes. Black teas tend to get bitter if they are overly extracted. Green tea? Not so much. Just don't walk around with it in a glass mug if you work in a lab or clinic.

Dont brew green brew oolong it is my favorite tea of all time and no im not chinese!
