You can't get the program for free, but you can try it out in the process of purchasing it. Now, if after your trial period is up and you either don't wish to purchase it, or can't afford to, you will still have the month free period to use it.
You simply go to the Microsoft website and download it there. I will try to locate the link for you, hold on a moment.

The above link will take you to Windows Marketplace, where you can then locate Powerpoint and download it for a free trial period, which is usually a month. When the month is up, it will stop working unless you buy a Product Key, and put it in when requested.
