My wife and her parents lovingly accept me for the atheist heathen that I am. So do other people whom I consider to be great representatives of Christianity who walk the walk.
Mutual respect goes a long way.

I accept everything and everyone. Anyone can share an opinion or a belief, but no one is to judge anyone! I believe how I believe and vice versa. We all put our pants on one leg at a time. No one is better than anyone. I don't wanna be judged for they way I believe no more than an atheist wants to be judged for they way they believe. It goes both ways. Then you just get those jerks that just wanna condemn anyone that is on here!

I work with two atheists, and I am Christian. We work very well together and never get into the religious debate. NASA is very diverse as to religious beliefs, and employees work side by side and respect one another's beliefs. So yes it is possible. As a matter of fact, when there is a launch, there are usually a mix of both on board.

Christians should just stop worrying and fretting about the rest of us.
And it's not just athiests they have trouble accepting - I'm Jewish and find it sooooo patronising when some Christians repeatedly insist that I 'must' and worse, that I 'will' accept Jesus as messiah!
How arrogant!
I think we should feel sorry for them, rather than getting angry. They must be insecure in their own faith, if they need so badly to convince us also.

I think everyone believes in something, people say they are atheists, but I think everyone knows there is something bigger than us out there. something or someone formed the earth, it didn't just magically appear, and the big bang theory, well who made the atoms for there to be a big bang. God wants us to not judge....He will judge when the time comes. Besides I have nothing to lose by believing, If there is nothing what have I lost. If there is though I bet all the atheists will wish they did believe. To me I would feel sorry for them.....what a sad life that would be to have no hope. As they said in my favorite movie Shawshank Redemption....." hope is a good thing"

I am a Christian, my husband is primarily atheist. The Bible tells us that this type of relationship can be trying to a christian, but makes no mention of it being wrong. After all Jesus loves all of us, not just the ones who love him back, and we as Christians are supposed to be "christ-like". And I'm pretty sure although he may loves us, there are a lot of Christians he doesn't like.

What i get in this forum is more so atheist disrespecting the beliefs of Christians and judging and condemning Christians calling Christians stupid and uneducated because we believe in God...But i forgive them and i pray for them because i know they do this because they are ignorant as to the word of God..They continue to try to analyze it with their mind, not understanding that the word is spirit....

Yes, you can believe whatever you want to believe. Let us respect our beliefs and stop judging each other.

I accept that some ppl believe. Under the circumstances i've been through in my life, I no longer believe in god.
But, i respect that some ppl have other beliefs than me.
And, I hope that others do not look on me for being an atheists, and vise versa.
