Well I think both are very good...but it depends on where you get them. If you are just buying the dough...then Chocolate Chip. If you are buying the seasonal cookies that are ready to bake kind...then sugar with the decorations on them...But if you are buying a cookie cake...CHOCOLATE CHIP! So i'm guessing my fav is Chocolate chip!

Sugar cookies! They are more versatile. You can frost them, dip them in chocolate, make 'thumbprints' where you put jam in the centers and then bake them, or even crushed hard candies. The possibilities are endless!

One of my favorite uses was to roll them in sugar with cinnamon, clove and nutmeg before baking.

You can also divide the dough and add food coloring for a variety of colors.
