PS3 Ethernet Help?

my mum is getting me a UK 60gb ps3 for christmas. i heard there is an ethernet cable included. is this wored? i have a broadband modem, will it work on it? i havent got wireless internet.

It will work perfectly, i have the same kind and it works amazing with my ps3.

Yes it will work.Any Ethernet cable (RJ-45) will work with PS3. In some cases you'll need a router. Cheap and reliable wired router will cost you around 35$.
