I saw this water bottle in the holiday catalog and online...it electronically tracks your water consumption per hour, somehow i think analyses what your total water consumption will be, and lets you know how close (or far) you are to your personal hydration goal, among other things it may do. This is the basic idea of it though I think.

If anyone has this product, do you feel it was a worthwhile purchase? Does it seem to do what is advertised to? The price I'm seeing for it is $29.95, how do you feel about the price for what you are getting? Or is this just a glorified water bottle and an unnecessary purchase?

imo, i think its a waste of cash.. i carry water bottles everywhere. at home, in my car, at work, at the gym.. i find that i drink more if it is there right next to me. i never had a need for a hydration meter, i can tell if i am dehydrated when i work out.. if i am dehydrated, it shows in my training, and i make sure to drink up that evening and following day.

I couldn't think of a bigger waste of money than that.
