Well, it depends. There are a lot of sexual predators and fakes on the internet so it's a dangerous game. But, I have a book about Internet Dating (people whore are engaged/married now after meeting someone and stories of horror from meeting people from the net) and it's like... if you're lucky you'll find someone trustworthy but in a lot of cases people aren't really who they say they are.

Just commenting on the 'fast food joint' thing...
It's just one way of meeting people, all those lovehappens sites.
i met a guy who has become a very good and close friend to me - on the Internet. Not through a dating site though... It just happened, i had no intention of finding someone. i left a comment on a video on YouTube and he saw it, messaged me...
So, if you can find a really great friend on the internet, i don't think it's impossible at all to find true love like that. :)

Have a good day.
:)

I think you can meet somebody. I hopefully, if they are close enough to meet and spend some time together, things can work out. Taking your time and trying to meet a nice and right person. And, yes home cook meals are much better.

Many people have found true love on internet and thru reputable dating sites...the key is getting to know the person. Start out chatting and e-mailing...then phone calls...and finally a public meeting. It's every bit as enriching and solid as any other way of meeting people.

Well, it's not exactly impossible, but all the same, it's hard. Really hard, I think. Because sometimes what people seem like on the internet aren't what they're really like in real life. I think it'll be tough. Takes a lot of luck.

My husband and I met on the internet. We've been married for almost 3 years and were together for 2 years before hand. It wasn't off of a dating site though. I just met him through a mutual friend online. long story, but yea. You can find love anywhere. =)

hey you can meet anyone anywhere...i dont think there is anything wrong with finding a date on one of those sites like eharmony or match.com. Sometimes it beats meeting some strange drunk person looking for one thing at the local bar...ya know...
