Hi,
Went to the RSCPA (in the UK) today and reserved a beautiful ginger kitten who i've already fallen in love with!
Anyway, obvsiously they carry out house checks to make sure you're suitable, just asking if anyone has had a house check from the RSPCA and what they look for?
We have our own home (not rented) that's nice and clean so we should be fine, but is their anything specific?

Thanks!

I think that's a great policy. Americans would probably be up in arms about it. Most of our animal control facilities and humane societies don't have the funds to hire personnel to do it. The RSPCA is a national organisation and may get enough government funding to do it.

I know our HS will do a home check for large dogs to insure that fencing requirements are met.

your position says plenty about you. Is it really sparkling and hygienic. If the cat is to bypass outdoors what are the roads like round you. have you ever the different pets. have you ever toddlers and what number. Does it seem as once you've the commercial ability to guard the cat especially vet expenditures. in addition they attempt to get a "vibe " from the relations to target to envision if everybody needs the cat and that you're animal fanatics. this is by ability of no ability suitable yet they strive against and ensure that the cat will be probability-free and its needs treated.

gosh, dont even worry about it,theyre lovely.basically, they just want to see that the cat has acess to food, water and a litter box.they are not judging your home, your family or the quality of your housekeeping.they just need to see that you have/will provide adequately for the cats needs.it will be fine, they are nice to chat with.we were apprehensive, but we stayed in touch with the woman who inspected our house, and she even helped us find homes for some unwanted hamsters we took in.relax, and dont worry!
