If he didn't have any interest in you, he would not have bothered kissing you at all.
He's trying to have respect.

Tommorrow, my boyfriend and I will be celebrating 5 months. I'm 13, and I don't think this means anything. Maybe he's just trying to tell you that he really likes you by kissing you on the cheek. My boyfriend has been kissing me on the cheek for almost 3 months. Until he actually kissed me one day. So now we kiss nd he kisses me on the cheek. Maybe you need to make the move and kiss him. That might get things rolling.

You have to look at how the date went generally. If you got the impression from his body language that he was attracted to you (eg: leaning towards you when talking or making excuses to touch you), then it probably means he was wary about blowing it by moving too fast.
However, if his body language wasn't flirtatious, then it would mean that he was being polite but didn't want to lead you into thinking he was interested in anything more. Cheek kisses are more of a social custom rather than sexual.

it could mean a lot of things....he was just being nice and not trying to be too aggressive on the first date...see what happens if there's a second one. Some women have preferences about kissing period on the first date so he wanted to kiss you but not on the lips. He took the safe way out!

My current husband and I did just that. We've been married for 31 years now. After he took me home I started to just get out of the car and he asked me if he could have a kiss...I took his face in my hands and kissed him on the cheek. This was a man who was used to getting exactly what he wanted from a girl. When I didn't "put out" he fell in love with me. And I with him...we respected each other. So yeah...he probably is in to you. Give it a chance...don't be too eager to do anything more on a first date (especially on a first date). Good Luck

Maybe, but OCCASIONALLY the little cheek-kiss is also a sort of cop-out. I'd need more info on how the rest of the date went to decide whether or not there was any chemistry.
Did he hold your hand at all, or anything like that?

It means he kissed you on the cheek. His mannerisms don't tell you if he's into you, his words do. Although, it does seem like he is because if he kissed you on the cheek he didn't just go in for a huge kiss, meaning he either respects you or really hated you but felt it would be impolite to not kiss.

If you want a boyfriend so bad, then I highly recommend following this https://biturl.im/aUM4O Since you've never dated or been kissed before, it's going to be hard to get a boyfriend if you don't know what to do but once you know what to do, you'll be able to get a boyfriend pretty easily and can share your dating stories with your friends and experience those feelings yourself. You'll even be able to attract guys you might feel is out of your league. I suggest going on a bunch of dates before choosing one guy to be your boyfriend. Have fun.

Yes. He's being polite. It's a little risque (if I'm spelling that correctly), I think, to kiss someone on the lips or go further on a first date. It's better than a hug, so don't be worried to ask him again.
And, like a lot of you said, he asked (or accepted) for a date with you. He must like you a lot already!
