i honestly HATE mine.
the have just plain ruined my life.
if i say hi to then . somehow i am offending.
anything i do, like walk into a room, i am doing itthe wrong way.
it is a constant battle.
and i am always crying.
weve tryed family counciling and all that. noting works.
tis has gone on for 7 years.
when i move out of the house i am loosing contact with her. no joke.

i see your points and you all deserve a best answer.
i love my sister deep down.
but she is so hard to deal with.
i mean i makes me depressed and it makes me cry.
i just dont know wat to do, and i cant hlp but think what life would be like if things were diffrent. how much hapier my childhood would have been, how many tears could have ben replaced with glowing smiles, how many fights could be replaced with laughs.
do you see what i mean?

I have two teenage sons that constantly fight with each other. The older son is autistic and has major depression. He has what are called "tics" which are mannerisms and habits that are caused by his condition. These "tics" are very annoying.
My younger son, (17 months younger) has something called hypervigilism. This means that he get irritated very very easily. He is convinced that his older brother does these "tics" just to annoy him. And he would be about 50% right too, because my older son craves attention, even negative attention.
So things in my house stay pretty high pitched. Both boys are convince they hate each other. Personally I believe it's just immaturity coupled with personality conflict.
Hate is so close to love that many people confuse the two.

Tough situation. Coming from a family of 7, I have been there but as I have grown older I have realized that what's most important in life is family. I had to learn to accept what my siblings are able to give in terms of support or otherwise and not expect anything more or less. Don't give up on your family - it's not abnormal to have these feelings - I'd say trying a different counselor.

that is horrible bro's and sis's should not make you feel that bad but i mean acationally they do that kind of thing but there is a stoping point where they should shut up or something!!! there the offending ones !!! but i dont have any sibblings , i wish i did then i would not be so bored and could have someone to share my stories with but then again reading things like this where sibblings are asses then i am glad i dont!! but i hope you get stuff sorted out and all ways know that they are the stupid retards!! lol :( kitcat13 :)

Um, yeah my sister and I fight sometimes, but then the next day wer'e kewl. I would never say I hate them. I don't think you hate your sister either, you just hate the fact that you can't get along, that's all. When you move out, of course you won't talk to her as much but don't completely lose contact with her, you never know when you'll need each other.

Yes, I believe many do!!! I do not have any of my own, I was an only child, but I have a brother-in-law that is a real jerk. He is rude, mean, been divorced 3 times, duh I wonder why??? I think it is perfectly normal. Maybe not good for us, so just get on with your life, and don't let it eat you up. Life is too short, their karma will come back to them in the end! Live everyday like it was your last!!!

what is so bad about her? maybe there is one thing that happened in the past that just made her impossible to deal with from that point on? I dont hate my brothers. I dont think I could hate them even if I wanted to just because they are my blood. maybe you should just try loving her from afar? sometimes when ppl move out, relationships get better. I moved out when I was 17, made my relationship w my mom better.....move out and then see how things go. if it is still bad then you may want to try cutting her off for a while....jmo

ONe odf my best friends used to tell me she hatedc her brother and then one saturday we were riding 4 wheelers (her,Her brother and I) Her brothers fourwheeler flipped i watched her give him cpr i watched her cry and beg for her big bro to wake up...... he never did! Think about what you really think about them hate is a very strong word but it depends on how u feel i haven't been able to even yell at my brother since them i am to afraid it will be the last thing i say about him or to him

well i am an only child so i really dont know how u feel
trust me it suxs bein an only child cuz you get bored easily and you dont have anything to do when you are bored. i used to cry all the time because i was SOOOOOOOO bored. i am really bored right now. :[ but when you are older, you 2 will be SO close trust me i seen this happen a LOT

Don't say that you hate her. Hate is a strong word, You need to get along with her. She is going to be there for the rest of your life. She will be there after all of your friends and boyfriends/ girlfriends will go by.

i hate my sister we fight all the time and i mean fist fight no arguing to it its like we're being thrown inrto the boxing ring every time i get around her but i jus realised that even though i hate her as a person i have to love her as a sister and if you dont get my point its that just because she's family doesnt mean you have to like her but you do have to love her cuz youre blood
