I have a MP5 A5 electric airsoft rifle and it wont shoot. I shot it a bit on full and semi auto but then the next day it shot a couple of BB's and then stopped. I did charge it the night before for 12 hours like it said. I thought it was jamed at first but then when i checked the barrel it was empty. Then when i pressed the trigger it didn't even make a sound even when there were BB's in it. So i think it may have to do with the battery or the connection of the battery. I tried taking it apart but i couldn't get it apart. If you knew what i could do to fix it I would be very gratefull!
Thanks

Okay, a few things. If it makes a clicking noise when you pull the trigger, the gearbox may be locked up. But, since you say that it's not making any noise, it's either the battery (try a new one), the wiring, or, as is more likely, the fuse. New fuses are available for quite cheap at any hardware or electronics store. That's in a little plastic case along the wiring that runs to the battery. When you open up the case, you'll see a small glass tube with metal on the ends, and the wires will be clipped onto that. There's a piece of metal inside; chances are that that is burned out. Replace it, and you should be back in business.

If it's gearbox lockup, you will need to open your gearbox. For disassembly instructions, visit http://www.mechbox.com.

If the fuse is okay, and it doesn't make noise, it's probably an issue with the battery, or else the charger doesn't work/isn't plugged into the wall. Try another battery if you can pick one up. Please feel free to contact me if you have further questions.
