Ohm's Law: E = I x R

E = Voltage (volts)
I = Current (amps)
R = Resistance (ohms)

E = 1.5 V + 1.5 V = 3.0 V
R = 3 Ω

Solve the Ohm's Law equation for I

I = E ÷ R
I = 3.0 V ÷ 3 Ω = 1 amp

indeterminate

1 amp would flow on paper
but the internal resistance of the batteries Rs would make it less in practice

3 volts 3 Ohms 1 Amp
I=V/R or I=V/(R+Rs)
