Over the years, people have insulted Jesus and co in all sorts of ways. Sometimes quite disgracefully and the odd complaint has been made about those people. Jesus is still around cos He can take it. What is Islam afraid of?

Muslims do believe in Jesus.
Islam is not really afraid of anything to do with him.
its just that, he is a prophet! He only sent the message of god down. Why do ppl worship him?

For your information sister. NO MUSLIM IS A MUSLIM IF HE DOES NOT BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST PEACE BE UPON HIM.
we believe that he was born miraculously without a male intervention. we believe that he did do a lot of miracles. we believe that he was the Christ the messiah. we believe that he gave life to dead with God's permission. we believe that he healed those born blind and lepers with God's permission. so we are going together. there is only a parting of the way that you Christian brothers and sisters believe that he is God or son of God, and we Muslims don't believe that. we believe that he was only a prophet of God. i hope it is clear for you. i request you to kindly ask some learned Muslims if you want to ask and the simplest way is to read the Quran and the Traditions of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him yourself. then you would be able to know the truth. don't listen to media or people who are trying to insult Islam. you should listen to the Muslim point of view as well. i think it would be unfair if you only believe in things which people tell you when you have the sources of the Muslims to do the research yourself. i invite you to ask if you have any more questions. but don't say something without listening to the point of view of both Muslims and others. we are not allowed to say such things which so many non Muslim brothers and sisters say about Islam. we are not allowed to insult anyone. we are not afraid of anything. just want to share the commonalities. if you are sincere write to me i would answer each and every question you ask me. then decide what is true and what is false. and i don't say all the Muslims are good. but sister you should understand that there are black sheep in every community. like if say that whatever Alfred Hitler did was the fault of Christianity because he was a Christian that would be wrong. because it is not the fault of Christianity. similarly if some Muslims do wrong things that doesn't mean Islam is wrong. i hope you understand. i would love to hear from you.

Jesus otherwise they would allow the Holy Bible into Saudi Arabia and would not feel the need to ram the cruel Shari Law down the throat of their populations. Have you noticed it seems to work hardest against women. However I think Adeel A has perhaps the best answer although I do not wholly agree with it's contents.

In fact, it’s the other way round. Christians are afraid of Islam and the Muslims, that’s why they keep attacking Prophet Muhammad.
It seems as if Christians have made it their religious duty to make fun of Muslim values as their own weird doctrines, ideologies and theologies are backfiring on them should they let Islam and it's believing Muslim prosper.
Who has given you right to make fun of anyone, by the way?

Muslims don't like insults to Jesus any more than Christians do. They consider him a prophet as well.

Yes. Islam is Christianity's weaker, younger cousin. Very fragile and afraid of getting dirty.
It can't "bear" the though of insulting its prophet but it can rape, kill and torture.

Islam is afraid of equal rights for women, Science, education, reason, democracy, freedom and logic. That is why it is incompatible with the West and should be banned here.
