My daughter (turns 4 on Tuesday) loves to be naked. She has even taken to sleeping in the nude, she'll put PJs on after the bath, but removes them when she's actually in bed. She only takes her clothes off at home, and has a pretty good idea of when it's inappropriate, like if company stops by or at the dinner table, she will get dressed at these times. I'm a little worried that it will escalate and I guess I'm looking for a little reassurance that she'll get over it. Is she too old at this point for a naked phase?
Thanking you in advance,
Flamingo.

Yes she turned four in October & she loves being naked...As soon as I dress her she begins to strip literally..lol..but actually it is getting better because just back in the summer time I had to explain to her how it is ok that daddy does wear not shirt & how she is a little lady & it is not ok..She just SCREAM to no avail... so her father went out & bought them matching tanks to wear all different colors so now that is all she wishes to wear..It is perfectly normal dont freak out..I feel your anxiety..

Don't worry, it's normal. Sounds like you have a grip on teaching her when it's appropriate and when it's not, so I would just reinforce that and not worry about it.

Mine each went through naked phases and they still have times when they don't want to wear much if anything. But they do know that they don't get undressed in front of other people. It's actually a good thing, because it has give me a chance to introduce modesty to them without making them feel uncomfortable or ashamed.

All of my kids went through a naked phase, where they'd take their clothes off and run around the house. It comes and goes when they do that. My daughter will leave her clothes on for a few weeks, but then go through a streaker phase again.

They grow out of it. Just give it time.

Yep, my daughter (almost 6) has gone through a few naked or near naked phases. She's currently sitting at the table next to me making snowflakes in just her undies. ;-)

As long as your daughter understands when it is and isn't appropriate, there's nothing to worry about.

my kids liked getting down to their underwear and running around....

When I was a kid, I went through a naked phase... I guess for about a year (right around 4 or 5) I was naked CONSTANTLY and it drove my parents nuts.... company or no company.... I think it's just something most kids go through, and I wouldn't worry too much about it.

My daughter went through the same thing! She's now almost 11yrs and is VERY modest, she doesn't even want Mom to see her without a shirt and shorts on! She grew out of it, and went to the farthest extreme! Don't worry, your 4yr old will to!

My daughter lives in the buff. She realizes when it is appropriate and I think that as long as you don't mind then she will grow out of it.

i am 25 and my mom told me that 1-about 5 i hated clothes. i would run around nakid but i knew when it wasn't ok to do so .
i think this is normal. clothes can be restricting feeling so i say as long as she know when not to do it she is ok
you could alway mention your concerns to her dr but i really think its normal.

nothing wrong with going naked. its the natural state. most kids fight having clothes on, because its not natural. its humans who make nudity unnatural and immoral and wrong. and its humans who give nudity a purely sexual connotation.
