my parents took away everything except my computer. i had a trip planned to go to florida to see my best friend, and now they wont let me go and im grounded from everything except my computer indefinetely. i cant leave my room except to eat and use the bathroom. how do i get myselfout o f this mess? please help.

Do what I tell my kids when it happens to them: stop doing the stuff that got you grounded in the first place.
And they let you keep your computer? In my house that's the first thing to go!

First of all I do not know your age. As long as you are a minor and living in there house you must abide by there rules. They must have a reason as to why they don't want you seeing him or her. I am a father of 8 kids and one thing that goes on in this house is the fact that we all communicate with each other and we don't hollar as well. The best way for the time being to possibly get out of your dilemma is to first of all apologize to your parents for being a jackass. Then ask can you and your parents sit down and talk this out. If your parents insist on you not going to see your friend physically, ask them if its ok to keep in touch with him or her by mailing letters just to keep in touch. If they continue to be jackasses themselves then just apologize and keep your mouth shut before your parents find something else to keep you in your room for a longer time. Other then that without getting the whole story this is the best I can recommend.

I get grounded all the time your parents ground you because they know taking everything away you hurts you just make it seem like you don't care and listen to everything that they say you'll be ungrounded in no time unless your trip was planned for the next week or two depending on what you did.

well, i think that it depends on why u were grounded. if it's something huge that u know u shoudn't of done then the best thing to do is to ride it out (u don't want to dig yourself into an even deeper hole) but if it was a small thing and u think that they are being ttly unfair than u should definitely try to talk it out with them and explain that it would be he=urting you best friend more than u (that always gets my parents)

well anyways..
do you best to be a goodie goodie
keep your room super clean, keep your grades up, be extremely kind, do anything extra, dont give lip or whine
keep this up for a while
after doing this ask them again if you could go and try to make a deal
like if you went then you would do so and so.

Try to correct whatever you did to get yourself grounded so strictly. If you can't correct what you did, learn from your mistakes and show your parents you can make amends. Be very patient as things may not change for awhile.

1 st of all why were you grounded ?
maybe they have a right to keep you in your room.
2 nd of all maybe if you talk with them and explain why but dont bang your feet like a 2 year old that NEVER works.

lol! what did you do? any way not important..try talking to them about the situation and compromise with them..hey if u let me go I'll..unless u screwed their trust over..why do kids seem to always get in trouble around christmas?
