I spend time with GOD daily and I need His word daily.

However, church is in my home and heart. I do not belong to nor will I join any organized church buildings.

I have been told many times by different church faiths like Catholic, Baptists, Lutheran .........so on, that in order to become a member of their church, I would have to be baptized into it. That would mean that I lack faith in the baptism that I was born again into Christ. So in so doing I would be denying the Spiritual rebirth for others to except me in the flesh.

No matter what man may say I truly am a member of the true church that Jesus was talking about. No man has the right to say other wise.

As a child I grew up in the church, but it was smaller with a wonderful and inspiring Minister. Now, an hour away, I find the over scaled commercialism of the large (the one near us has 5,000 members) churches to be not to my liking. I know many members but the administration and Minister are loud, overbearing in the neighborhood without thoughts to those around them and self serving-that is not Christianity to me-and I think many others across the US are feeling the same. I walk every morn, say my thank yous and count my blessings-and pray at night. I ask for what I call "windows and doors" -opportunities. I read all that I can and concentrate on my own personal spiritual growth as well as that of my family.
Guess what-I think that's better that belonging to a Church like the afore mentioned.....

I give God my attention many times during my day. As far as going to church, I usually go 2 times Sunday and then again on Wed. night for prayer service. I dont think that going to church will send me to heaven but I get great inspiration learning the word of our Lord. I participate in a womans/moms christian outreach also, which is every other week.

I am a Christian don't go to church as much as I like

Almost every Sunday, except when I'm not at home or something, and usually on Wednesday for Bible Study and prayer.

I don't read the Bible in a very strict manner though I have tried in the past and lately I find I do better listening to it than reading it. If I am not compelled by the Spirit to read it I'd rather wait until I am.

In the past, I've gone to church practically every Sunday. Since I've been pregnant ... well, I go when I don't feel the need to be near a toilet at all times because of morning sickness or when I don't have the recurring migraines.

I do read The Bible everyday, however. Sometimes its a few chapters, sometimes its a few verses .... but I make a point to read everyday.

I do not go to church because I haven't really found one that is what I consider a good representation of what Jesus said a church ought to be. My family and I spend a lot of time talking about our beliefs and our experiences as believers and to me that makes up for our lack of church attendance. We are at those times worshipping God and thanking Him for all we have.
I read His word often. It is where I turn for answers that I need and for understanding of life.

I never go to church, but I study the Bible all the time.

It's interesting to see the thumbs up and down in these forums.

I almost always get a lot of thumbs down for well-researched and informative answers, and for this answer I get thumbs up, when in reality, it's generally a good thing to go to church and not as good to avoid it.

Go figure...

(The reason why I don't go to church any more is because usually the speakers haven't studied the Bible nearly as extensively as I have, and I find myself getting no benefit. There are also usually no ministries that I can get involved with, and they usually won't let me teach until I've been a member for awhile. I will be no means stop studying the Bible, but for me, going to church is a waste of time.)

I go to church about once a month. Sometimes more often, sometimes less. I read God's word at least weekly. I'm reading the Bible from beginning to end. And I'm up to Psalms.
