all other sins you can STOP, repent and move on...
I.E you can stop killing, you can stop doing drugs
you can stop lying you can stop stealing....
how do you STOP remarriage? by not being remarried...
God doesn't "anull" your previous marriage...and make your new
one good....its adultery.....plain and simple...
turn away from ALL sin...God is watching...

You make a very good point. Christians have made Jesus their savior - not a prophet. They have married that idea into their religion. They have even made Jesus an extension of God. Even when it mentions that there is only one God - They don't seem to understand we are all children of God. We all came from the same tree and if they are sinners then they must have fallen from a bad tree, according to what the bible teaches. Why was the NT written in Greek and the OT written in Hebrew? so many mysteries that most don't bother to really question their understanding of the teachings. How can another save you when it clearly states that, what you sow you will reap - So if you make mistakes they are forgiven by another prophet? So, which law applies? You must pay for your mistakes or another can release you from them? Also, I notice that when using the name Allah, many Christians insult God using that name - but still honor other countries and languages for using the names used in theirs, such as Dios, Krishna, Khoda, Gott, Theos, etc. There are many prophets and one Dios, regardless of what It is called. Nature is another possible name for God for those who are not certain as to how they got here. If your religion separates you from the other beings on this planet then maybe those teaching need correction.

Weekly? What, you think he's just kidding when he says he casts our sins into the depths of the ocean and remembers them no more?
I agree that many divorces are not Biblical, either adultery or abandonment by a non-believer. However, if a person's divorce was not Biblical, then he/she remarried, and if he/she realizes he/she did wrong, is sincerely sorry for it, would rectify the situation if he/she could without hurting someone else, asks God for forgiveness, and God, knowing his/her heart, then forgives. He/she goes on with his/her life. The sin no longer exists.
But you already know this, I'm sure.....and I suspect your resentment is due to those 22 years not being as happy as you imagine the lifes of those "adulterers" to be. Otherwise, why does it bother you enough to even write about it?

No, if you ask forgiveness, then you are forgiven. The crux lies in what you are asking forgiveness for.
While the Bible still stands as guide book for Christians, society has changed and not everything is in black and white. People can get divorced for a variety of silly reasons these days. If a spouse has died, and the survivor gets married again, there is no adultery. Your marriage to the decedent ended when life ended.
My spouse and I have both been married before, but I distinctly heard the voice of the Lord telling me to marry my current wife. We have been married almost 23 years and God has blessed our life together.

Remarriage like divorce is a single time sin. Repenting of it, means never doing it again. Jesus wants people to accept that the last time they married to be a life-long commitment and the last time they've divorced to be their last.
Forgiveness is freely given by the grace of God, but Salvation only comes through faith that is shown through repentance and servitude.

I think if you admit to it and had a good reason, Jesus will forgive you. You don't need to renew forgiveness. Once forgiven, it lasts forever (until you do something else to piss him off, then he'll just send you straight to hell).

No , but we have to ask forgiveness daily for our shortcomings. Man is a natural enemy to God. But the great thing about our Savior is that for each sin we are forgiven and He will, "cast all their sins into the depths of the sea." Micah 7:19
