If YOU said that? You'd be branded a heretic.

When she says that? The rationalizations come out, as she's already on the fast track to be made a Saint...

You could just be coming to your senses after all those years of debasing yourself. Isn't the lack of guilt just wonderful?

am I no longer a true Christian? No, I think even people who don't believe in god can live a life that can be called Christian.

am I no longer a Catholic? Probably, because they'd close ranks and kick you out.

am I now an agnostic? Possibly. Although possibly being an agnostic is about the vaguest thing I've ever heard.

am I now an atheist? Only if you have given up the idea that you will ever find what you believed in before, and decided there really is no such thing as god.

Then they must surely die in disbelief. (physical death!)
However, that does not mean spiritual death! They just have some uncertainty of their future

I'm not a Catholic believer , I am Christian.

Many people become conflicted in their faith, that doesn't mean they have fallen from His grace.

Many people are confused about what it means to acknowledge Jesus Christ coming in the flesh.

2John1:7
"Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist."

I stumbled across this verse the other night. It made my heart skip a beat. This one verse is what has INADVERTENTLY convinced people of the devil.

I have never trusted deception. I have always trusted the Holy Spirit of God in MY flesh.

That is what is meant by "acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh".

Christ is Father, Son, and Spirit.

The only unforgivable sin is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

God is not a belief.

We dishonor God by trusting the deceiver's. We cannot trust God if we trust deception. We cannot believe both truth and lies at the same time. If you believe lies you do not believe truth.

It could be "the Dark Night of the Soul" or you could be in a state of mortal sin. All saints experience testing.

I would say that you just stopped listening.

Often we expect God to do our bidding, this is not how it works.

God gives us what we need, this is not necessarily what we think we need. This gives the illusion that God has abandoned us.
