Location, caterer (if separate from location) and photographer. You can start looking at florists, too- good ones can fill up early.

Everything else can wait until next summer.

Go to theknot.com- they have great checklists that will keep you organized and ensure that everything is done in time for your wedding.

You still have LOTS of time. But it can't hurt to start researching reception/ceremony sites and even possibly booking one. I'd take advantage of this time to start looking for a dress. I wouldn't buy just yet or you could spend a lot of money having it altered last minute. This gives you plenty of time to find a PERFECT dress for you. And start up a guest list and getting addresses and info can help you out if its all compiled early and you won't be as stressed during the invatation time.

Well you have lots of time, but its never to early to secure your location if you already have an idea of how many people you will invite. And if you happen to find the perfect dress, get it straight away and dont wait, you never know when they will stop making it and it will not yellow in a year if you store it properly.

if you have a specific location that is in high demand, then you can book it. Now, just buy all those wedding magazines and rip out all the pictures you like. In a couple months, you can start narrowing it down.

Venue(s), catering, photography at least one year out(60%of the budget), after that go for the gown. Once the gown is done, all other decisions fall into place. www.askthebrideguy.com for any assistance.
