Money is the reason they come. Hating America is just part of the popular culture around the world these days. They aren't coming to the USA because they want to become a part of our great country. They're in it for the dollars.

You are generalizing. Not all immigrants who come to America hate America.
First immigrant as a group is very diverse and made up of different races and socioeconomic classes, etc. Hatred is also an over-generalized term. What do you mean? Hating the government, the political system, the military actions overseas, the cultural values? I can go on, but you need to be more specific when you try to accuse someone.
I don't think immigrants who come to the US hate us. That is a wrong and stereotypical assumption. They come here because of political unrest in their countries, economic opportunities, better place to raise their families, etc. I think these immigrants are thankful that they have the opportunity to immigrant here. That does not mean that they have to agree with everything the government does, especially with regard to its diplomatic relationships with their home country perhaps. The US government's diplomatic relationship only look to its best interest, even to the detriment to its allies or the environment (e.g. the refusal to sign onto the Kyoto Protocol). Also, the egotistic attitude is very undesirable to someone who have lived outside of the pond and perhaps be able to come out and admit that America is not correct all the time.

Your question doesn't ring true with me. I don't think this is common at all. The vast majority of people who immigrate to the US choose to because they will have more opportunities. Of course the streets are not paved with gold and it is hard for people to leave their culture and start in a foreign culture. But almost all immigrants work hard and do their best to make a success of their lives. A new immigrant would appreciate having schools where their children could learn English and prepare for the future. They would appreciate the laws that protect them. They would not appreciate people who are bigoted and rude, who have forgotten that their own ancestors were immigrants.

If you mean to the USA, very simple. Of course, I cannot speak for everybody, but I think it is because our own countries are terrible.
About Cuba, I am not going to talk. The rest of the countries in Latin America are overwhelmed with poverty, very low income, bad living conditions, etc, etc. We see that every day on TV.
Therefore, people want to come to the USA to live better.
About what you say that they hate ( the USA ? ), well, I am not sure they do as you say.
You don't say what you base that statement on, but perhaps the fact that most people in the USA ( the yanks, I mean ) hate/fear immigrants ( legal or illegal, it doesn't matter ) and consider them similar to osama bin laden or lower than dogs has something to do. That is not a very friendly attitude.
The immigrants have no reason to be friendly either
It saddens me to say that I have observed that yanks have a double moral about many things. They see themselves as the best in the world in everything, the good guys, the most generous, the most kind, the best of the best.
But according to their actions, they are not so in many cases.
When the boy Elian Gonzalez was deported and sent back to fidel, by force, the yanks applauded the action, like it would have been seizing osama bin laden.
But then, a TV series, JAG, presented a similar case, but here, the child was allowed to stay by the generosity and good will of the agents, who fought very hard to let the child to stay. It nauseated me so much, such hypocrisy, that I stopped watching the series

People come here in order to be able to make a living a have better wages than the one they would have in their own country for doing the same job.
So immigrants come here out of necessity for opportunities to earn money that their own country does not offer them.
I am not sure this immigrant would later hate american, but they do criticize it, and dislike it a lot because here they do not feel that they need to suffer as much as they do in order to be here, and that they should have more rights than they currently have, and they should be seen as persons more than as criminals.
There is of course tow side to the argument but, If you want to see it from the immigran prespective I recommend this song from Ricardo Arjona "Mojado", I included a version with both the spanish an english text transaltion, that I believe reflects the injustice (valid or not) than an immigran might feel being done to him while in the USA
"Empacó un par de camisas, un sombrero
He packed a couple shirts, a hat
Su vocación de aventurero, seis consejos, siete fotos

The legal immigrants do not hate this country , most of them have it much better here than where they came from.
the only people I have met that hate America are extreme left wing Liberals. They will not be happy until we become a socialist nation. then once they experience that . they will realize what thy have lost and still will not be happy

Why do you believe immigrants hate America? Did they tell you that? Don't believe every negative thing you hear. People want to come to the US for various reasons, perhaps a hardship in their country of origin. Please remember to capitalize America, it is considered disrespectful when you don't.

In my experience it is the media hype that tells us that immigrants hate America. The people that I have met and worked with that have come here love the opportunity they find here. Our government has made it so difficult for people to come here legally many of them just take the chance and come illegally. If we would make it a more effective process we could increase the tax base and they would become productive happy citizens and pay taxes. In fact except for Native people aren't we all immigrants?

i'm helpful individuals in Argentina, Brazil and Cuba are grateful which you fairly prefer united statesa. to be blessed so undesirable. psst. a splash comprehend certainty for ya... united statesa. is a continent with 34 international locations no longer a rustic. there is not any any such element as ‘American’ nationality, united statesa. isn't a rustic united statesa. is a continent with many countries in it. the U. S. never named itself the call of the united states is a designation it comes from the tip of the statement of Independence, "WE, subsequently, the Representatives of the united states, many times CONGRESS, Assembled...". The preamble to the U.S. shape reiterated the word: "We the individuals of the united states..." (The authors of those 2 records in all likelihood used the word "us of a" in selection to a catalogue of colonies/states through fact they remained uncertain on the time of drafting which colonies/states might sign off on the feelings therein.) The geographic term "united statesa." specifies the states' residing house on the yankee continent. it is therefor incorrect to confer with US voters as individuals with the reason of denoting citizenship, or the united states as united statesa. with the reason of denoting a rustic. individuals have a term for US voters, we are called United Statesians by using something of individuals, to declare American with the reason of denoting citizenship or united statesa. as quickly as we recommend the united states reflects poorly on our physique of suggestions in direction of the 70% of individuals which at the instant are not United Statesians.
