I accidentally did that this morning. I really did not mean to. I had two pieces of toast, as I usually do with my coffee. I saw what looked like a beautiful image of Christ on one of the pieces and I was going to save it and maybe create a shrine. But I was reading the newspaper and got distracted and just absentmindedly spread strawberry jam on what I thought was the other piece of toast and took a big bite out of it. Then I realized it was Jesus. I was distraught! It was either going to be a shrine or I was going to sell it on Ebay. I didn't even get a picture of it and so no one will believe me. Do you believe me? I hope so.

It's ok, sister, calm down. It will be all right. Here's what we'll do. We'll organise protests against those newspapers. Its owners are obviously the Antichrist sent by the devil himself!!! That needs to be stopped.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's such a misfortune. Just imagine how much fuel we could have bought with that money and use it to burn gays?

~shakes head~ Hang in there.

To answer your question - I'm torn between selling it and using it for the above mentioned noble cause and between eating it and having Jesus inside me.

Well..... If i saw a clear image of Jesus on toast and it was there for a while I might not eat it cuz I don't really eat stuff that's in a shape of certain things, but sometimes I do like if someone baked cookies that looked like a cat or a dog I would eat it or if it had a picture of someone of it. I know I'm picky like that. But if it was just a little flash I eigther will eat it or maybe not.

You might have been seeing things or something if no one else would have saw it even tho u ate it before anyone could say if they saw it to or not. If other peeps would have saw it then appreantly it's Jesus toast or a sign or just something cool or something. Jesus will more then likely not be mad at you if you ask me that you at that toast. I guess I can belive you if said you saw an image of him on your toast some peeps see things or see some images and your image is a belivable image.

LOL! No, I wouldn't eat it...I have a clear picture in my head what toast is supposed to look like and it doesn't contain a face . Of course, I wouldn't have thought to sell it on eBay or create a shrine...if I saw something on a piece of toast, I'd just say, "that doesn't look like toast" and feed it to my dog.

But darn, you could have had something there...I wonder how much someone would have paid on eBay for a piece of Jesus toast?...you may have just given up the chance for that European vacation you always wanted! Maybe you should sue the newspaper for causing you to lose all that money!

Of course I believe you. However, my question is how do you know what Christ looks like?

Did you know that you can purchase a picture of Jesus through a radio ad on a station from Acuna Mexico? $10 for a photo $25 for a signed photo, and $50 for one that is personally inscribed. There is a young man whose name is Jesus and looks very much like the traditional depictions of Christ. He spends his days autographing, inscribing, and mail photographs. The last I heard he was on his way to becoming a millionaire. His ad is followed by one for Mother Mary's Holy Water.

If i didn't, that would be idolatry.
Then again, if you sold it on eBay and donated the money to charity, or exhibited it and it converted people, that might be a good thing, so i can see your dilemma.

You could always design a toaster which always produced toast with images of Jesus on it.

Honestly, yes. But then again, I'm not a Catholic... or even a Christian for that matter. But if I were Catholic, I would see it as my own private communion... and since it is Sunday... well, you get my point. Don't worry about it... that image was for you, and if it was fated for you to eat Christ on toast, then it was supposed to happen. Whatever god you believe in wanted YOU to have that toast, not some anonymous bidder on Ebay.

Yes, I believe you.

Your best choices are either to send it to:

a) Oral Roberts University for an objective analysis of it

or

b) the Vatican, Italy, for the same objective analysis.

Some shippers pack items better than others so choose wisely in the field of shippers so the package arrives in good shape at either ORU or the Vatican.

Good luck. God bless.

I would sell it on Ebay. A piece of toast ought to bring at least $300.

Well, you saw what you saw, It's toast, you ate it. What may have been Christs face to you, could have looked like any number of things to other people. But, it doesn't change the fact.. It was toast.
