Yogini - thats a good view of it, but muslims and christians don't teach this- if one of them is right automatically means that a vast section of people is going to hell for being put in an impossible situation

Gnostic - nice story but it is not true that Islam is the winner. Christians say if you don't believe Jesus was the son of God you go to hell (Which muslims don't believe) and muslims say if you don't believe that Jesus was just a prophet you are an infidel and will go to hell.

And I am not aware of whether Jews believe in hell and an afterlife or not.

Massengill - i don't know if either of them is right. I am just approaching a question from Muslim and Christian beliefs only for the purpose of this argument. I know Eastern religions and atheism could be right too

Kal - like I said the ressurection of Jesus is your belief, not your knowledge. This automatically means all Muslims are going to hell

I actually don't believe that God cares much about the path. I think God wants us to be loving and kind to one another no matter the path that's chosen. There isn't a wrong path there are only wrong actions that hurt others.
In the end, God is God whether you are a Hindu, a Buddhist, a Pagan, a Christian, a Muslim. There may be different forms of God but they are God just the same.
Me: Buddhist

Do you know the story about the Priest, the Rabbi and the Imam?
There was an Egyptian king who wanted to see which religion was true, Christianity, Judaism, Islam.
He called a Priest, a Rabbi and an Imam, to see which one would present the best argument.
The Christan priest was told to go first, he said no the Jews were here first so the Rabbi should go first. They argued then agreed for the Imam to go first.
The Imam was asked to present his case, he said, “If the Jews are right then the Muslims and Christians are okay because believe in Moses. If the Christians are right then the Jews have a problem and the Muslims are okay because we believe in Jesus. But if the Muslims are right then the Jews and Christians have a problem because they don’t believe in Muhammad.” (peace and blessings of God be upon him).
Islam is the winner
just to respond to his question
Islam covers all the bases.
You see I believe in Jesus as a Prophet akin to the ebonites who were massacred in early Christianity. They did not believe in the Trinity which was something that wasn't accepted as a doctrine until after the 4th century at the behest of the roman empire.
The original message of Jesus has been changed because all the Prophets called to the worship of one GOD.
So did Jesus worship himself?
And if you believe that God can have a child and that God needs something to create something. Then how can what you believe to be God be all powerful? If he needed Mary to create something?
Do you see how none of the Christan doctrine makes any rational sense?
What the first commandment? "I am your Lord."
Second commandment, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me."
Third commandment? "Thou shalt not make for thyself an idol"
So if you believe all this that came with all the previous Prophets before Jesus. Does that mean that they won't enter heaven because they don't believe in the Trinity?
Or is it easier to believe that Christianity was changed by the enemies of God to add this. And that the final Message was sent to mankind Islam. Its an old order not a new one.
Think about it. What I have said makes sense!

Actually, in both, at the End of Time, Jesus will return and give us the option.
In Christianity, Christ will return and state that He is God (Son of God) who came to save the world. People who do not believe Him will be judged accordingly.
In Islam, Christ will return and destroy the cross - symbol of Christianity. Christ will state he is not the Son of God, that He is not he Son of God nor God, just a Great Prophet from the long line of Prophets. And, that Islam is the true religion. Those who deny the words of Christ or don't believe him will be judged.

You mean three of them(Judaism)
And in Islam All of these religions followers have right to go to Heaven, it depends on how they behave in this life.
Peace
P:S.There is also a verse saying:If I wanted I could send you one religion..... which I can't really remember the rest and the number of sura wright now)
OK To Gnostic :You are wrong,if ıslam is right ,they all have chance, everybody wins,
Christians and Jews are considered as The People of The Book not infidel,it is about the Oneness of God:Another verse says ;Stop saying Three in One God for your own sake......
And hell in Judaism :That is why Jesus said He came to fullfill the law not to change.

Well, we actually do know. If you study and look at what the Bible says and then what the religions say that the most that would be true is the Seventh-Day-Adventist religion. It falls in to the category of christian. I think Muslims worship Allah. Well in the Bible it says,
"You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. "
So it tells us not to make an idol and another verse tells us
"You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me"
And Muslims bow down to Allah which is not a real god. I'm not saying it to be mean, but just to prove to you.

From a theological standpoint the God of the Christians, Jews and Muslims is the same God. People created religions. Your relationship with God is personal. No one on this earth can tell you if you go to heaven or hell. A lot of people these days believe there is no such thing as hell. Just be a good person and live as your conscience tells you.

I cant tension what share circumstances i've got heard or seen this type of assertion "all Muslims are terrorist." i will merely think of all u ignorant ppl merely working around on the day of judgment. U dnt see me working around yelling "kill the jews!" merely bcos some men in a village drink doesnt make each and every of the lads from the village drunkards. Oh confident...women rights...we completely have that! in fact in ur bible women r seen as not quite much as good as men while in Islam paradise below a mothers ft.And jihadis? they're are completely not classed as muslims! they're in ordinary terms a gaggle of apes working around merely bcos they have have been given a gun of their hand. We r maximum committed to our God.

God doesn't threaten us with an eternal hell of torture...hell just is...it is the natural conclusion to our earthly existence. Instead, God offers us a way to avoid the natural consequences of death. Now if you can show me where God demonstrated a way for people to have victory over death through Islam, then I'll concede that God offered two competing solutions to the problem...but for me it is pretty clear that the only time God demonstrated his power over death was through the death and resurrection of Jesus. Thanks, I'll choose the ONLY path God ever showed us that allows us to avoid the natural consequences of death!

It may be a question of language and timing! Down to the nitty gritty there is not alot of difference. there are a lot of mutual holy places, and mutual beliefs in both holy books.
Then cast your mind back in history, Protestant and R.C. church`s were allways at loggerheads to the extent of burning people at the stake.
Faith is just that faith it is between oneself and ones god (by whatever name). It is also how one lives ones life not how many times one go to a "church" or how much filthy lucre one gives to the "holy men"
