I know a guy whos girlfriend has a kid from a previous relationship.
He has affairs that she does not know about...but says he uses protection. His reasoning to me was that he is just "playing around" and that she actually had some other guys seed growing inside of her. He is reminded of this other guy daily, because the kid looks like the ex (who he has to see regularly).
I don't know if this is an insecurity issue or not. I told him he should split up with her, and try to find someone else if he can't deal with it...but he says all women are the same. What do you think?

Absolutely not.. if this guy can't handle the fact that she has someone else's kid, then he should break it off.
If, on the other hand, he does love her.. of course it is going to be hard to raise someone else's kid.. but the other guy was the sperm.. he has a chance to be his "dad".. if he has decided to be with her, then he should be with her. Screwing around is not doing anyone any good, least of all the kid who had no choice who is father was - don't punish the kid, raise him to be someone who you are proud to have as a son.

I don't think all women are the same and who cares who's seed was growing inside her? It's more her than anything or anyone else.
It's a shame she does not know what's going on or maybe she does but to answer your question NO I would not cheat on my girlfriend even if she did have someone else's kid.
I don't like to see people split up but in this case you may be right. I think she probably deserves someone that will at least be faithful to her.
Either way I think your guy friend has allot of growing up to do...

All women are not any more a similar. She had the youngster after breaking up with the different guy properly? She didnt cheat on him properly? He has no longer some thing to be insecure about if thats the case. If a woman cheated on me, then had the youngster.. identity be out of there enormous time. Him utilizing that as an excuse to play round is lame.

he is insecure. He is sad. He has been hurt by so many ppl that he just thinks everyone is the same. In till he talks to somene he is not going to change. I see you are trying to help but he is t far in to what he thinks is correct.. WHat he is doing is wrong and is cheating her child was before they met he should not hold that against her

He has problems and she needs to know so that if they can not work it out they can seperate.
