I agree with what "dirtyblacksocks" said in the thread...

Sony are flat out lying in terms of COD4 being at fault for breaking the PS3.

Power source requirements are relative to hardware, not software.

Just like you need a larger power source for high end graphics cards in computers, you need the proper power source to keep up with the hardware being used in a PS3.

COD4 may be one of the first games to actually push a PS3 to it's limits in terms of what the hardware can do. But it's certainly not a game developer's fault that the console manufacturer used a under powered unit for the system.

They're just transferring blame to save face, I guess. But seriously, what a cop out. Blaming a video game for over burdening a power source?

It's all hardware related...

Been playing it on my PS3 since it came out. Havnt had any problems yet.
