The meat was NOT pork, or Turkey... It probably was beef, but could have been any Muslim friendly meat.

I bought the meat at the Carefour (supermarket from France).

Internal temperature is a better way to gauge whether a meat is thoroughly cooked or not.

If it's done according to internal temperature you should be OK...the browning is mostly an appearance issue.

Next time, lightly coat the probably beef with flour before frying.
