I don't understand how all those religions can tell you how to act and think a certain way even down to the nitty gritty. Everyone fights about who is right and claim that there's can and should be implemented upon all. Yet if that was the case, then wouldn't there be one universal religion? Did it ever occur to anyone that we really can't help the way we see the world. We were all born with different brains which traumatically affects our outlook on life. And we also cannot help what has been done to us. Children who were raped and abused are forever tainted to a world vastly different then the norm. And not only that, no two christians are the same. Sure they might do the same things but they themselves see it differently. Perhaps it is because im only 17 and the younger generation is always more skeptical and liberal, but honestly, can you tell me i am wrong?

maybe we just can't help our outlook on life because of the way we were born and our own different experiences. So ultimately how can there be one true faith?

Honey, if I point a gun to your head and tell you to shoot the person next in line, you will most probably do it to save your own life. Would that have been the choice you would have made had I not threatened you with a gun? Of course not. You don't have free will in that case, do you? You're doing something to save your a**
Same goes for telling you that you will go to Hell unless you accept Jesus, Allah or any other diety in your life.
Free will is a myth. True free will should NEVER be mixed with having a choice and consequences that come from making those. But unfortunately, that's only in theory. In practise it's always mixed with those.
We have a choice in life, but we most definitely don't have free will.

Yes you can be certain. God the Father is our creator. He will find you while you are searching. He did for me. I have been abused, and molested.
If anything these events bring you closer to God. You can see the evil in the world so young. And you know there is good, because you can see that also. Then ask who truly is all good. This will end up pointing to God the Father through His Son Jesus. God be with you in your search. God Bless!

We are like 99.9999% robot. Whatever's left after doing our robotic chores, we can use for free will. (Robotic Chores include: Breathing, Eating, Drinking, Walking, Reading, Exercising, Going to Work, Driving, Putting Gas in the Car... while free-will is expressed through: creative art, creative writing, writting music, etc)

God has given us the path to Him through His word. Everything should line up with that.........
I would encourage you to pray and ask God to show you how to have a relationship with Him.
I follow the Word and I am a Christian and follow Christ - the two never conflict.
However, you're right - my personal experiences and upbringing reflect on how I interpet the Bible and my relationship with God...........I pray often for God to help me overcome this. I don't want my version of the truth - but the truth.
Good question.

Once Adam and Eve rebelled against God, their descendants inherited their rebellious natures. As such, we do not have the freedom to do anything that pleases God. We are born with the tendency to sin. We freely choose to what degree we indulge the sin nature.

At 17 we are just a bit better at noticing the nonsense when we see it.
God would need to be pretty narrow minded to only allow one true religion.

No one has total free will, everything you do or say is governed by the rules of your environment. What is acceptable and not acceptable is governed by those rules.
