I'm not talking about fast food like Burger King or McD's I'm talking about things we give to our children to eat right at home. What things do we feed our children that we think are not so bad but in actuality are really unhealthy? I bet there may be things that would surprise us as to how bad they are.

Regular non-organic Milk, non organic anything actually. The meats and milks are FULL of growth hormones, and steroids. Cough Syrups, and pin meds. Soda's, candy, the list goes on and on.

High starches, high fats, high sugars. Not enough fresh fruits and vegetables.

We are rapidly becoming one of the unhealthiest countries in the world.

I firmly believe that SOMEDAY they will discover the chemical additives in our foods are slowly killing us in one way or another. By weight gain, causing autoimmune disorders, diabetes, once rare, now common. And so many more.

They actually add hormones to milk, can you believe it??

Fluoride in our toothpaste causes damage to our Thyroids.

anything from almost any store. anything NOT organic. anything processed (from a package) anything that says "natural" for, natural means NOTHING in fact, most packages that have natual on it have MSG in it and that is one of the WORST chemicals to put in our bodies.

research MSG and find out the 30 or more ways that it is getting in the foods you eat.

dont feed them SUGAR. POISON.

dont feed them WHEAT

we do NOT need milk. if a balanced diet is eaten milk is NONSENSE. if you like it and it is from a safe source it is ok.

I sometimes give my daughter the chewy Nature Valley bars. They are loaded in with sugar, so I limit them. She also loves cheezies, I let her have them for a treat though. I try to limit sugar and junk as much as possible though. Oh yeah, and hot chocolate. After we have been outside playing in the snow I let her have a hot chocolate, that isn't the greatest for her, but you can't deprive them of everything.
