Its heartburn and indigestion due to the acid reflux. Alcohol is a major source of acid reflux. Try taking an acid reducer or cut back on the alcohol.

Edit:
Ulcers usually cause blood in the stool and irritable bowel syndrome or bloating. They also get worse with stress. They don't cause heartburn.

You may have irritation of your esophagus either caused by or aggravated by alcohol intake. It may not hurt while you are drinking just because of the effect of dulling the brain's response to pain.
Anyway, if you are getting really bad pains you should see your doctor. There is a test they can look in your esophagus and stomach to see exactly what is going on , if it is indeed coming from that area. Also, try to slow up on the drinking until you get this checked out.

You probably have acid reflux. It is probably not your heart. But quite a few people have a weak valve at the top of the stomach and it leaks back up into the esophagus. This is made worse by drinking alcohol. Also, it is possible you have a hiatal hernia. You should get it checked out, but swallowing a little mylanta should help with the symptoms.

Alcohol expands the blood vessels and increases the blood pressure. Believe it or not, some people can't drink due to this, it can create heart problems.
