If you can't tell already, mint is one of my favorites! My family also loves strawberry jam with jalapeno over cream cheese as a dip for crackers!

Hot Crab Dip

1/2 pt sour cream
2 8oz packs cream cheese
1 1/2 tsp dry mustard (or prepared mustard)
2 to 3 tsps worchester sauce
3 shakes of garlic salt
1/2 lemon
1 tsp Old Bay (or other seafood seasoning)
1 lb lump crabmeat
3 to 4 Tbs mayonnaise
1 cup cheddar, shredded, 1/2 to mix in, 1/2 to sprinkle on top
paprika

Mix all ingredients well. Place in a baking dish, I use a glass loaf dish, sprinkle on remaining cheese and paprika, and bake at 325 degrees until bubbly, about 35 mins.

It goes far, and it will disappear!

Duck & seafood gumbo, it's our traditional Christmas dinner.
Boil ducks the day before, let cool in the broth. Next day Debone the duck, strain the broth for and lead shot. Fry a big skillet of plain salt & peppered okra till lightly brown & mushy, pour into the broth bring to boil, add couple cups of small chopped onions. Cook till onions are soft, add a couple pounds of peeled deveined shrimp, & couple pounds of cleaned and pick raw oyster. Cook low for about 30 min. Turn off let set for an hour. Pour a bottle of gumbo file in there, eat on hot rice!! Some o the family don't like it so I always cook something like deer steak, or bake a turkey breast, mac/cheese, creamed potatoes and we always have apple pie, pumpkin pie,
