Well being a teen you will have a much easier time losing it than someone even in their 20's.
Take stock of your life, meaning, step back and see where your stress is coming from. How do you react to that stress? Do you grab a candy bar or a slice of pizza?
The best thing for you would be to take fitness and weights for a gym class, that is if your school offers it. Yeah you need cardio too, but I know for my sister nothing helped her more than creating muscle tone to help burn the fat.
Let your parents know what you're up to. Don't mention the whole "stretch marks are a turn off thing" cuz honestly when it comes down to it, guys don't care and your parents probably won't want to hear that coming from their daughter. Ask them to help you on your journey to "better health" ;) and even talk to your doctor to see if s/he can help too. The more support you have from friends and family the more likely you'll be successful.
Good luck.

Start walking, slowly work your self up to several miles a day. We walk 2 to 3 miles each evening.
Stop all fried foods, all white food, all processed foods (they have all types of additives in them. All sweets, use splenda for sugar and no sugar added only.
Eat fresh vegetables, small portions of lean meats, whole grain crackers, cereals and breads. For dairy use skim milk and try to avoid cheese for a while.
Use a luncheon size plate, about 6or 7 inches across for all meals. This makes you reduce portions, NO SECONDS.
NEVER eat at all you can eat restaurants, or fast food restaurants, until to get control of your will power. Plus drink about 6 to 8 bottles of water or large glasses of water to flush the toxins out of your system.
EAT very small amounts, every 2 to 3 hours, it shrinks your stomach and if you eat a small amount when you are hungry, it will kill off your cravings.
Read packages and know your calorie counts, be aware of what you are putting in your body.
GOOD LUCK.

you can eat anything you want but in moderation.
exercise is important.cardio burns only for 2 hrs whereas weight training abt 12 hrs....the best is to mix both but a bit more attention to weight training to turn fat to muscle. hope it helps
