I'm 21 and I'm very interested in much older men, above 35. The problem is that I look really young for my age and am not very experienced with men anyway. I think these things scare older men away. Would an older man be interested in someone like me? What kinds of things could I do to attract an older man?

Age is only a barrier if one or the other or both allow it to be. People are people and that is the base for attraction, not age, or experience. Might want to ask yourself why you perfer an older man. There are many advantages to that age difference and also there are obstacles as well, however, so long as the age is that of legal maturity (18 in most states) and there is an attraction between the two there would be no legal problems. There is much to learn from what you seek and there is also much security and love also. Remember, experience comes with age and usually experience is the result of action and recovery. As we grow older we learn from mistakes and see things that we cannot at a younger age like how to treat people, deal with problems and make decisions. We learn what makes people feel good, wanted and loved that may have been overlooked at a younger age.due to no experience. There is no trick to attracting an older man, it is the same as attracting any man, just be yourself. If you seek an older man you would want someone that is compatible also and all older men might not be compatible but I believe that there are more older men that are compatible than younger simply by refinement. I for one think that you show extreme intelligence by your desire for someone that has some experience in life and that it will work well for you. Basically people are the same but as we grow older we learn and that takes the fear out of new events or problems. Like I stated above, most of us learn, with age, how to treat people nicely and with respect in most situations. The biggest obstacle you face is not finding the older gentleman, it is the obstacle of riddicule of you peer group for you decision that inhibits from your side of the equation. Attraction starts just like any relationship, commonality, ideas, appearance and personality. You could practice on me if you wish. Good luck and good for you for being honest enough to put this question on this forum. It shows independence and sincerity that reflects courage. I believe you will have no problem, just relax and follow your heart but guide it with your mind and you will find what you seek.

First of all, examine your relationship with your dad. Make sure that's not the reason for the older man attraction. Then, just be yourself. Next, just be yourself. You shouldn't have to "do" anything. As long as you are honest and mature, an older or younger or same aged man should be interested. I met my husband when I was 22 and he is 10 years older than me. It works out well because women mature faster than men and we are at the same life stage. The only issue is that we don't have a lot in common. Our 5 year wedding anniversary is coming up soon. It can work. Just make sure that you are attracted to him for the right reasons and be yourself!

Some men would be interested in a younger woman.
Others would not.
It really depends on the man.
Some like grape juice and others prefer a fine wine.

I would say... no.. If they would... they will just think of having fun with you only. Especially those married man looking for fun.
While for those bachelor Men usually prefer to have someone mature, understanding which about the average age of 27 to 30. At your age.. to me.. probably ... long way more to learn and experience.
WHy going through all the hassle of falling in love? enjoy your young age time and learn as many as you can. It wont be late until 27.

Actually, quite the reverse. A man over 35 would probably like the fact that a younger woman "likes" him and the fact that she also is not very experienced! This would no doubt light a man up!
