Someone once told me this -- something like the true test of a guy's personality is how he treats people he sees as "lower" than him, like cashiers and waitresses.

Is there any truth to this?

Pretty much! People, male or female, who treat others with discontent, rudeness or belitttlement usually are control, introverts trying to show off in front of you and are mere weaklings.

He or she possess a high probability they will treat you the same exact way given the opportunity. Weak, weak, weak!!

Not a good soul to treat others badly for no apparent reason.

I think there is some truth to that. It's not just how he treats people "lower" than him. It's his general attitude of respect for other people. If he has little respect and if he doesn't seem to have patience in dealing with other people, it could be really difficult if the two of you ever have an argument.

Yep. If he treats those folks poorly, your turn is coming.

It will happen as soon as he thinks that he is getting what he wants from you.

If he treats other poorly and you nicely, it is because he wants you go give him something. Probably meaning a good time in the sack.

I wouldn't want to be with anyone who thinks he is above someone else because of the job they have. It doesn't necessarily mean he will treat you poorly but I don't know why anyone would want to be with an a$$hole.

Hello Ana,

Yes it is true - if you want to test a guy's personality then how he treats his mother is how he will treat his wife..

So if he is loving and caring to his mother grab him.

I wouldn't say that this is completely true but who wants to be with someone like that anyways. Myself, I wouldn't want to go out with someone who is rude to anyone period.

no, it doesn't mean he would treat you the same BUT would you really want a guy who is arrogant, rude and discriminating?

It could be yes and no. But think about it, you are going to be embarrassed each time you go out with him.
