You should probably check with your local police dept. as it probably differs from state to state

I'm assuming your are in the US. If so then federal law requires that those agencies that accept or are funded by federal dollars can have no restrictions relative to height/weight/race/sex. In height/weight category must be proportional in size...which you are...might be about 10 or so pounds overweight but easily taken off in academy.
Throughout the years I've worked with many officers who were larger than you and they had no problems getting jobs or with advancement. The only problems they had stemmed from job related events in which drunks seemed to like to challenged the big guy/gal to a fight....but in the end the one that was intoxicated came along without a fight...just some smooth talking on the part of the officer.

Most of them do not have such a definite rule. It will be up to a panel to decide if you are suitable.
Of course you have to be able to run an 8 minute mile, jump over a 7 foot fence, climb a rope, etc. etc. to pass the academy, then some require an annual physical and testing which will put you on a diet if you aren't minimally proportional.

did you not have a similar question wanting to let police know how much you appreciate their efforts. if not... my bad. if you are able to pass the mental.. physical and written test i am sure... 328 and 6'5 have nothing to do with whether or not you get the job. sure hope when it comes to a chase... you can carry that weight...

Your size could be overlooked but you also are required to take a mental exam. After reading your posts here, you may as well go for another vocation. Hmmm, you have gained another pound since yesterday. And I gained 2 more points.

With today's propensity toward hiring 'officers' of diverse nationalities, skin colors, sizes, and medical conditions, there is not such thing anymore as a 'standard'.
All you need do is apply, and if they don't have someone in that department to meet a particular demographic criteria that you meet, unless you are totally inept, you will be hired, regardless of your weight.
However, think about this: A fellow contributor named Trooper blah blah blah has recently made a rather inaccurate, yet true statement: "Cops very rarely treat someone nice when they have to run after them." Although it is much MORE accurae to say that cops very rarely treat someon nice on their best days, and even less nice when they have to run after them, Trooper blah blah blah is making his statement based on the average, more-or-less in-shape officer.
Do you really want to be adding to the bad publicity of contemporary law-enforcement by adding the extremely-unlikely-surpressed unwarranted attitudes you will wind up bringing to the job should someone as out-of-shape as you wind up having to run down some perpetrator?
If not, find a different source of income.
PLEASE!

There normally are none, all you have to do is look at Shaquille O'neill. Miami has him as a reserve officer. I also work with an officer of another agency that is 7'1".

In most department, height and weight must be proportional, and I can't believe I'm answering this question, when it means nothing to you at all.
