If you let one go in bed, should you say excuse me or should you just lay there and act as though nothing happened. I think my b/f heard one the other night and now I feel like I need to confront him about it and explain what happened. I am ashamed though because I feel what I did was not very lady like.

The bad thing about it is that I forgot he was still in bed with me so I really let it out and I grunted as I squeezed it out. It was at that moment that I realized he was in bed. I rolled over and I realized I ripped it directly into his face. I just wanted to bury my head in the sand because I was so embarassed.

I consider myself to be lady like (usually). However, I occassionally let one rip too. If there's only two of you in bed, how can you just lay there and act as though nothing happened -- the other person will know it's you?
I just let it rip and it makes my boyfriend laugh. They say, laughter is the best medicine.

Actually you are displaying signs of insecurity in the relationship. If he loves you truly, he will accept your flatulence as normal and he won't judge you for it. ;) In fact, he may start responding in kind. :)) If you feel you can be yourself in the relationship and even "accidentally" pass the occasion "fart," without being judged, then your relationship will hit a newer level.
There will be no need to explain it or justify it. It's normal to do, and if he doesn't seem to have a problem with it, then it is worth just shrugging off.

nah, no need to explain it. It's natural and he shouldnt get bothered by it. On the other hand I usually pull the covers over my girl friends head when I do it! Call it the Dutch oven.

Ooooh you pooted... I'm telling everyone!! ROFL.. I'd love to see the look on your boyfriend's face when you come to him honestly concerned and say, "honey, the other night when I farted.. how did that make you feel". If he's laughing as hard at you as I am right now.. then you will learn not to sweat the small things. Even if they do stink.

People do that all ithe time, and accepting that is just one of the many parts of being in a relationship. If it embarrassed you, though, then it is fine and acceptable to say 'excuse me'. Just know that it is ok to occasionally pass gas in your mate's company!

haha lol i get all embarassed and shy about fartin infront of my fella. he just laughs if i slip one oout by accident and then says 'go on ash i bet you cant do a louder one' he farts alllll day long lol.
if hes bothered he'll confront you and all you need to do is say 'shuttup u liar, noeone farts in their sleep', crack on you dont know! lol

If you're not comfortable enough with your bf to fart infront of him, why are you sharing a bed?
