D Innocent or Guilty?
During a trial, the burden of proof always lies with the prosecution. That's because a person in the U.S. is innocent until proven guilty. Let's see if you will be guilty when you face the Judge of the Universe. Have you ever lied? Have you ever stolen anything? Have you ever looked with lust? Jesus said "You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart!" (Matthew 5:27-28) If you admitted to being guilty of these charges, what you need to realize is that God sees you as a liar, a thief, and an adulterer-at-heart. Do you see the predicament you're in? You know the Day of Judgment is coming, and your conscience agrees that you are guilty. What will you say on that Day? Would you have any words of defense? No amount of good works will help you on that day. That's like trying to bribe a good judge by slipping him a five dollar bill. The judge of the universe will not be bribed. The good news is that God has provided a way for your fine to be paid, and that is through Jesus Christ. The Bible expresses it like this: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) You broke God's Law... and Jesus paid your fine! The Bible commands you to Repent (that is to turn from your sins) and place your faith in Jesus alone to save you. Confess and forsake your sins once and for all. Do it today - you may not have tomorrow! Then read your Bible daily and obey what you read.

It means that they allowed their heart to be corrupted. Even a person who is truly Christian is in danger of this. The Bible warns:

"Beware, brothers, there should develop in any of you a wicked heart lacking faith by drawing away from the living God. For we actually become partakers of the Christ only if we make fast our hold on the confidence we had at the beginning firm to the end." -Hebrews 3:12, 14

Becoming a Christian does not mean that a person is automatically immune to Satan's attempts to lead him off to destruction.

"Keep your senses. Be watchful. Your adversary, the Devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking to devour someone." -1 Peter 5:8

Both of these scriptures, the one in Hebrews and the one in 1 Peter, warn true Christians that if they do not keep an eye on themselves, they may be led away from God's salvation. If a true Christian is led away, it does not mean they were never a true Christian. It simply means they gave up the fight for life.

"Put on the complete suit of armor from God that you may be able to stand firm against the machinations of the Devil; because we have a wrestling...against the wicked spirit forces in the heavenly places [Satan and the demons]...that you may be able to resist in the wicked day and, after you have done all things thoroughly, to stand firm." -Ephesians 6:10-13

And, finally:

"But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved." -Matthew 24:14; see also Revelation 2:10

Whether someone is an atheist or a Christian, if they commit a crime that will hurt others, they're screwed regardless; ie: physical, sexual, mental abuse. Whether you believe in god or not, you're can be sure that you're headed on a one way trip to hell (regardless of whether or not it exists) if you have committed any of these crimes at certain levels (any level of sexual abuse, of course, no matter how minor, will earn you a trip to Hell ASAP). I'm a complete atheist and believe in being a good person and treating others, who deserve it of course, with respect.

I think no matter what you have done good or bad as a Christian, the only thing that will stand in the way of our eternity separated from God is the blood of Christ. It is only the blood that saves us. I for one no matter what good I may have done will be pleading the blood on that day for in me I see darkness along side of light. I know that its is only through the work of Christ and not of my own efforts that I will be able to stand on that day. It is His kindness, his grace, his love, his salvation that will save me and I realise mercy is not something I deserve but rather an attribute of my saviour that he bestows as a gift

A, if an atheist.
It is possible for a Christian to commit a heinous crime, since we are all sinners. Depending on how heinous, it may be unlikely, but possible.

neither all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God when becoming a Christian doesn't mean your not going to sin but knowing right and not doing it is wrong it doesn't mean we don't slide once in a while but thats why God forgives you will know them by there fruits he says if a person does something they know is wrong we are not to judge but also not to follow there foot steps It is truly if they repent that He forgives as if it never happened

Okay look at it this way: prayer, reading the Bible, going to church, etc those things are all like tasks done during college-level Christianity, like pre-med. Being sanctified by the Holy Spirit, that is, being set apart from sin and living a pure lifestyle is when you get your diploma. Someone who gives up or neglects their faith is like a college drop out.

i don't know. i mean i'm a christian but now i'm going through a tough time and i'm questioning everything. if i stop being a christian i don't think it means that i wasn't sincere in my faith. or if i stop going to a church it doesn't mean i don't believe anymore.
i think you never know especially with other people, you never now what's going on in their hearts, and you cannot judge who is a true christian and who isn't.

B. Remember it's never too late to believe. Your life will not be judged on any one event in your life.
