Nobody can give you a solid answer without knowing the crimes or the judges sentencing history.

Lawyer really can not discuss their clients with other people but he probably tells your boyfriend his best guess, so you should get your information from your boyfriend.
There is nothing you can do so worrying does no one any good. Try to be calm and supportive and don't make a bad situation worse for your boy friend by sharing your anxiety with him.

California has the three strikes law, which means that if you are convicted of three felonies it amounts to life in prison.

I know this isn't what you want to hear, but someone told me this once, and I'm glad that I listened...my life is much better now than before.

You don't want to be a jailhouse wife/girlfriend. By committing this crime, your BF has disrespected himself and disrespected you. You deserve better, you just don't know it yet.

My best advice is to walk away and let him deal with this. Move on with your own life...get an education, find someone who will treat you with the respect that you deserve.

Good luck, whatever your decision. Namaste.
