There is no place like home!

Since the ban on smoking at pubs....I prefer staying at home to have a few drinks. At least I can choose what foxtel I see. I dont want to be stuffed in a room or outside in the cold by myself. I may not find new friends but at least I have my favourite couch and a blanket...and I dont have to worry about babysitters. The smoking bans suck for people who are not that socialised anyway. Semi-hermits need to rely on something and the new laws have just stripped that all away.

I still go shopping...but my once a week music/pub joy has gone now. Im shy, I smoke.....I dont know what to do with myself if I just have to sit alone.

When I was younger, it was going out. Now that I'm 42, I'd rather stay home. Life is so busy with family, work, house cleaning, bills,etc.....when I get a down time, I don't want to exaust myself running around. Staying home and relaxing is just the rest I need!

I like to stay home most of the time, but I go out on occasion; probably go out about 3-8 times a month. It depends on how I feel, and if it's worth doing.

The former because it's cheaper. Going out means spending money. I go out only on the weekends and I don't always eat at restaurants.

At home. I choose to not drink alcohol, and my husband doesn't dance. What other reason is there for going out?
