Problem is, cryogenic suspension doesn't work. The water in the body crystallizes, puncturing all the cell walls and you end up being about as viable as a tri-tip roast.
But if they do manage to come up with a way to suspend people for an extended period of time, it'll be interesting to see what happens to the "soul" (if there is one). I suspect it'll be like a long sleep. Like those people who are in a coma for years then emerge back into consciousness.

If they died before they were frozen then they no longer have a soul, as soon as they died their soul left their earthly boday and went to the next world. If they were still alive when they were frozen, I believe that they died in the freezing process and the answer above rings true. I do not believe in freezing and being able to bring someone back to life.

Don't know, but I swear religion and the fears that go with it have set back studies in cryonics by a century or two.

In 17,000 years they will be brought back to life by a species of Inter-Dimensional Shape-Shifting Reptilian Aliens who will make them their slaves.

I would think the soul would get freezer burn after 2 years and you would have to throw it out, or...do the environmental thing and compost it!
