i used a regular one, and i have NO CLUE where it is right now....i need to ask my mother about that one....
depends on your budget, and your tastes. it's not a bid part of everything, so i wouldn't worry too much.

I had no idea what I would ever do with a traditional guestbook. As I looked through different options, I found this.
http://yolandasweddingfavors.com/Guestbookpictureframe.html
We had one that used an 8x10 picture (one of our engagement pics) and tied a pen on it with a pretty bow. It is such a rare and new thing that a lot of the guests didn't know to sign it. Our ushers had to instruct the guests to sign it (the only downside). But, guestbook attendants are used at a lot of weddings.
Now we have one of our pictures in a frame with all our guests' well wishes to hang on the wall to look at and read. I highly recommend this guestbook option.

I am doing this for our guestbook:
We will have some cardstock in our wedding colors (fall colors) for the guests to sign. Then, we will have something pretty for the cards to be placed in after signing, such as a large vase with a pretty bow tied around it & a little sign that says: "Your Wishes for the Bride & Groom". We will also place several pens around the table so several people can sign at one time. Then after the wedding, I will place the cards in a scrapbook of some sort so we don't lose any of them.
That's just one idea, there are tons of new, interesting ways to change up the traditional guest book...I say go for it!

I figured I would either lose my guesbook or just put it on a shelf and nhever look at it again...sooooo....I decided to try something new. (Won't know if it works until my June wedding though) At my reception I am having a table with quilt squares and various media for writing the guests wishes. They make permanent pens just for writing on cloth. Then the guests will return them and we will either make or have made a quilt for our bed. I am doing all the guests squares in white and then making a pattern with a wedding fabric I found. Also planning on having our names and the date embroidered on, but you could even have a photo transfered on.
Best of luck!

So quicker or later i'm on the Yahoo significant web page and some thing catches my eye over to the right bottom side. some thing that suggested "get solutions..." So I click and discover all kinds of questions being requested and all kinds of solutions given to those questions. on the time i change into about 3 months pregnant and were given into the being pregnant area and were given all kinds of advice from different moms and moms-to-be. because this change into my first infant, i had to carry close each thing. no longer in basic terms did i hit upon advice yet got here across that i might want to furnish some to boot. I surfed round to different sections and positioned playstation and visit the following daily. I had my infant Feb 14th ? and somewhat do not visit the being pregnant area a lot anymore. Now i'm depending on the "How Do i'm getting This youngster To Be Quiet???" area!! ha ha!!! j/ok my infant is genuinely an exceedingly sturdy infant and that i'm playing each minute of it. fantastic needs to ya'll from Texas!

I'm using the idea from the Guestbook Store, but my friend is creating the layout for me (that way it will be more personal). I really want a record of everone that was there more than just the names. I love this idea.

I searched thru eBay for my Engagement Guest Book. They have traditional and modern ones too. I cant tell you if the traditional or news ones are better coz both are beautiful in their own ways.

Go with the cheapest. This is one thing guests are not going to remember about your wedding and your going to have so many other expenses. Unless this is something that your really going to cherish yourself. Personally I have never flipped back to mine. I know who was at the wedding. This is an area where you can save money...so do it. You will have other expenses down the road to come later.

we made our own. But it wasnt so much of a book. we made a mount for a photo and got everyone to write on (we left a space for a photo in the middle) so we could put it up and remember the wedding every day.
Good luck

We have a guest book, we ordered it out of the mail order catalogue.
Just a regular one, that people can write in. I just hope no one makes mistakes in it!
Hoep that helps
