Aberystwyth is on the shores of Cardigan Bay in West Wales - it is at the end of the railway line from Shrewsbury. Borth is about 5 miles to the north. As you have already been told there is a small unmanned halt at Borth, there is a main station at Aberyswyth.

Aberistwiyh is South of Borth, in mid wales. It is on the main line that runs from Aberistwiyh to Shrewsbury (The cambrian line) via borth.

Its been a few years since I traveled the line but it about 25 minutes between the two via train.

I hope that I have helped.
