8 cups of green tea per day
And eat chillies or bell peppers for the capsaicin
The more different colours of fruit and vegetables you can eat in a day, the better! The different colours are related to anti-oxidants.

Your metabolism is your metabolism, and there really isn't anything you can do about that. As to how much green tea to drink: about as much as you want. You'll have to pee a lot if you drink much, and that's about it. Yes there are anti-oxidant benefits, and certainly filling up on liquid will curb your appetite, but you don't need to overdo it.
Eat sensibly, get some exercise, and and I think you'll be happy with the results in the long run.
Best of life to you!

I don't know but I heard the same thing about green tea. Also, working out speeds up your metabolism. Even for several hours after you've finished your workout.

Drink a half gallon-1 gallon of water a day, and as many cups of green tea as you please. If you are avoiding caffeine, then drink de-caf green tea (it still has the same amount of anti-oxidants and health benefits).
All fruits and veggies are good for you, even the ones that might have a lot of fat (such as avocado), Avocado is full of the "good type" of fat (monounsaturated). So, don't delete any fruits of veggies from your diet.
All these things are healthy for you:
Lean meats
fruits
veggies
good carbs (such as 100% whole wheat bread, brown rice, oatmeal, whole grain/fiber cereals, etc)
low fat dairy (milk, cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, soy milk, etc)
water
green tea
V8 juice(regular or low sodium).
Exercising for 30min-1hour a day, 5 days a week.
Cheers

you should drink REAL green tea without the sugar. by the way, i dont think that drinking tea and eating fruits and veggies is going to help you in your diet. the most important thing to do is EXERCISE.
for the number of cups to drink, i dont think that is gonna matter

green tea + cold water + no sugar = good substitute for water
for faster metabolism? there are no foods for that but you can take foods which have a laxative effect.
watermelon, less pork, no to fried food, no junk

well... it's really hard for me to gain weight :(
it sucks because i'm a guy that WANTS to gain weight. i'll post a pic...
but, i've never been one to sit down for a long time. maybe that's it, cuz i eat ALOT! & i eat late, but every one in my family tells me that if i were to just sit down through a movie, that i might gain a few pounds:) hopefully this might answer your question even though my answer has nothing to do with green tea...

Well in your case I would've thought drinking three to four. I think it is a healthy amount to drink.
