It seems that there were issues surrounding her which left a big question in the minds of some. She apparently lacked faith in the Lord which was revealed on some of her letters to friends. In one of her letters he stated that she even doubted in the existance of the Lord at all. It seems that she tried to justify hereself by her works however we are told in the Word of God that by the works of the law shall no one be justified in His sight as we are saved by grace alone! Our works have no place in God's plan of salvation for us. I hope she trusted in the Lord Jesus Chrisr for her salvation.
