Actually, I am not aware that brainstem scarring is related to memory - photographic or not.

I wouldn't suggest that it is a procedure that can be safely carried out at all ... at any age.

In my vast personal experience, I don't think being a demi-god is much different than being a god. With great power comes great responsibility ... true. However most demi-gods have some power that is well beyond the reach of mere mortals. However little it is, that is something that requires responsibility.

My favourite demi-god ... demi-goddess, actually ... has a power that would normally be dismissed as minor - but she can buy anything at a bargain low price! This is something that really has to be used carefully. Used too much, it could destroy the economy of a country!

It is debatable whether "photographic memory" (or Eidetic Memory) exists at all.
