I have a US Visa on my old passport which has been extended. Am I allowed to enter the US?

I have a 10 years multiple entry USA visa, which was issues on my Indian passport in Y2004. Subsequent to this, I had to add two additional booklets to my passport. The additional booklets refer to the original passport where the USA visa was granted and mentions that the visas in the older passports are valid.
Can I travel to the US now if I carry all my previous passports or do I need to inform the US embassy.

There will be no problem for you to re-enter the United States providing the visa as not expired. You will however need a new passport to be able to travel.

There is no need to transfer the visa, it remains valid. What happens is that when traveling you will present BOTH the new and old passports, your entry will be noted in the new passport with an endorsement of "VIOPP" for "visa in other passport."

Edit:
Take them all, better safe than sorry.

I trust Fred, yet keep in mind if she does have a visa, you're assume to be conscious in a well timed way for an extension. She has in ordinary terms 14 days left, it takes some months to the two be authorized or denied the extension. If she is denied she could could go away the U. S. quite speedy. It does sound such as you mean her I-ninety 4 is nice for 3 months, not her visa. We see this plenty in Michigan. human beings will circulate over to Canada and come back the subsequent day to get ninety greater days. You possibility the prospect of her being denied get entry to because of the fact it wasn't a significant departure.

You need to carry 2 passports to travel to US. You can use new passport for a valid passport and show your old passport for a valid US visa at the Port of Entry.

I believe that both your visa and your passport have to be up-to-date. If either have expired, you won't get through.

Yes, as long as the visa hasn't expired.
