This is really just an insult posed as a question. It would be like if I asked "why are you such a jerk?" You wouldn't take that as a real question. By the way we are very logical and well thought out, maybe not all people on answers or on the street but many Christian Apologists and Historians believe strongly that their faith is based on logic and common sense as do I. So, I won't hold it against you because my faith says I can't but please show a little more respect in the future.

Sure! The complexity of our planet points to a deliberate Designer who not only created our universe, but sustains it today. The human brain's complexity shows a higher intelligence behind it. There is an intelligence to it, the ability to reason, to produce feelings, to dream and plan, to take action, and relate to other people. How does one explain the human brain? "Chance" or "natural causes" are insufficient explanations.
With out God we are saying:
Nothing produces everything
Non life produces life
Randomness produces fine tuning
Chaos produces information
Unconsciousness produces consciousness
Non-reason produces reason
None of which makes sense!
Faith goes beyond merely acknowleding that the facts of science and history point to God. It is responding to those facts by investing trust in God - A step fully warrented by the supporting evidence.
One thing I don't understand is: why is it that some call a view held by less than ten percent of the American public "common sense".

Well obviously not. The believe that a man built an ark and lived on it for 40 days and nights with a bunch of animals and a few chosen family members. Who crazy is that? How did he feed the animals, how did he live with the SMALL, not to mention the dung?

A lot of "God's believers" couldn't do their jobs if they didn't!
Surprisingly few of the general population actually believe in common sense and logic, according to my observations. You only have to look on "Answers" to see that. However, I see no reason why there should be much difference in this repsect between "God's believers" and "God's unbelievers".

Look where 'common' sense gets you!!! War' Famine and disease, and death.
What you need is to look outside the box and develop an 'uncommon sense'. You may, then, be in a position to change the world, if not yourself.

Yes I believe in common sense and logic.
But when humanity tries to manipulate those two things to make himself feel better its not a logical thing to do.

Praise God for proving His Word to be True.

yes but they believe gods existence cannot be proved by looking what he looks like.
you see "demons possesions", science cannot logic that even tho some believe it would, i dont know.
im an atheist, but after what someone said to me, almost BRAINWASHED ME TOTALLY.
he said its ok not to believe in god, cuz many people too wonders if he exist or not, cuz we cant see him.
and also said that if god doesnt exist because we cant see him, what bout air?
can we see what air looks like?
PLEASE correct me if you could.
i dont know, but i prefer to stay an atheist for now..
cuz believing makes you some kind of moronic, no offense
and believing science can prove ANYTHING makes you ignorant
